Check out the new Spider-Fits in Miles Morales – Spider-Man #30 preview

10 years in, and Miles Morales is getting a new Spider-Man costume. That’s just one of the many things fans can look forward to as Marvel celebrates the character’s 10th anniversary with September 29’s Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 (opens in new tab)

In addition to a lead story by series writer Saladin Ahmed and artist Carmen Carnero in the extra-length celebratory issue, there’s also a story by Miles’ co-creator Sara Pichelli and the directors of the first and second Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Phil Lord, Christopher Miler, and Kemp Powers), and a third by writer Jeff Loveness and artist Anthony Piper.

Check out this preview of Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30’s lead story by Ahmed and Carnero, joined by colorist Erick Arciniega and letter Cory Petit:

Miles’ previous costume was damaged beyond repair in his recent ‘Clone Saga (opens in new tab)‘ arc with the Assessor, leading him to get a new outfit (or ‘Spider-fits,’ as he calls it.)

Miles’ new duds also arrive as he begins trying to woo fellow superhero Starling (AKA Tiana Toomes) as part of their budding romance. Their first date will take place in the next issue, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #31.

(Little do they know Taskmaster plans to ruin their date).

But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. Take a look here at the Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 main cover by Taurin Clarke, along with Chase Conley’s design variant, a Javier Garron piece celebrating the character’s tenth anniversary, and a variant by Pichelli and colorist Rachelle Rosenberg.
