So, what else is out there? Unfortunately for us, other Black Friday Disney Plus deals are thin on the ground. The streaming service isn’t known for offering discounts, and because it received an unexpectedly good one for Disney Plus Day earlier in November, we don’t fancy the chances of another reduction. There’s a chance we’ll wind up being wrong, naturally, but the 2019 and 2020 sales would suggest otherwise.
Luckily, there are more than a few options on the table if you want to save some cash. We’ve rounded up the best options right here, and they should help you get maximum value for money regardless of whether we get some Black Friday Disney Plus deals or not.
It’s not a bad idea to check out the HBO Max free trial if you’re hunting for budget-friendly entertainment either. That streaming service is crammed with old favorites like Friends and plenty of new films you might have missed in theaters, so it’s worth investigating if you have a spare moment during Thanksgiving.

In a surprise twist, Amazon is offering its own Black Friday Disney Plus deals. Anyone that signs up for Amazon Music Unlimited ($9.99p/m, or $7.99p/m for Prime members) will get half a year of the Disney streaming service for free, which adds up at almost $50 in value. Just remember, you’ll need to cancel both separately – otherwise you’ll start paying for Disney Plus on a monthly basis once your free six-month sub is over.

Following the free trial’s end (rest in peace, sweet prince), this is by far the cheapest way of getting Disney Plus. While we’re not expecting any Black Friday Disney Plus deals, at least the standard membership isn’t too deadly in the grand scheme of things. And importantly, it gets you everything on the streaming service without locking you into a contract. That means you can cancel whenever you like.

Those hunting down maximum value for money will be best served with this offer. Even though it’s a little pricier up-front, you’re getting three different services for the price of two thanks to this deal. More importantly, it’s got something to suit everyone; there’s the family-friendly escapades of Disney Plus, the mature dramas of Hulu, and the sports of ESPN. They all fill a niche, so this bundle provides a more well-rounded suite of content than other deals.

If you need an easy present for a loved one, family member, or friend that adores Disney, this is definitely worth a look. That’s in the same ball-park as a single Standard HD month of Netflix but for three times the amount of content.
Shopping for someone else, on the other hand? The digital Disney Plus gift card is what you need. It’s an annual membership and saves you roughly $14 / £12 compared to buying each month separately (that’s 12 months for the price of 10, in other words). Because it’s a code, you can also have it sent wherever you like, whenever you like. Just remember, it can only be activated by new subscribers.
