Black Friday Xbox Series X deals are still coming all weekend long even with the day itself done and dusted. Sadly, the consoles themselves have remained just about as hard to find as they were earlier in the year, but there are still tons of deals to be had on accessories to improve your experience across Xbox consoles or new games to play to make the most of the new-gen hardware you may already have.
If you do happen to have an Xbox Series X just waiting to load up with games, you’re in luck: we’re seeing a massive range of games up to $35 off at Best Buy (opens in new tab). Not only that, but Black Friday Xbox Series X deals keep coming on the accessories side with some all-time low prices on some cool third-party accessories such as the Razer Wolverine V2 controller (now $69.99, was $99.99 at Amazon (opens in new tab)) or Wolverine Ultimate (now $99.99, was $159.99 at Best Buy (opens in new tab)).
Meanwhile, UK shoppers have just as many savings to be found from a range of retailers. In particular, there are some actual consoles to be had among a small selection of Xbox Series S bundles going up for grabs at Currys (opens in new tab), as well as a nice assortment of games for both Xbox Series X and Xbox One starting at only £15 at Amazon (opens in new tab).
With all that set up, you’re finally ready to dive straight into the deals. Whatever you find right now, make sure you keep coming back throughout the next few days to see all the updated deals and savings – we’re on the case all weekend long.

Black Friday Xbox Series X deals: FAQs
How to get the best Black Friday Xbox Series X deals
Black Friday Xbox Series X deals can move quickly, especially if they’re on the latest games or high flying accessories. That’s why it pays to have a game plan going into the event. We’ve been tracking Black Friday for years now, and while Xbox Series X is still fairly new to the event, we’ve got some tips and tricks that will see you safely to checkout.
1. Know when to buy
You might see offers branded as Black Friday Xbox Series X deals landing from as early as October, however it can pay to wait until at least the start of Thanksgiving week before making the leap. That’s when we start to see retailers offering larger discounts, with the truly blockbuster offers landing on the Friday itself.
However, it’s worth noting that these deals will run out of stock a little quicker – and there’s no guarantee that a lower price will be available. If you don’t want to fight for it, we’d recommend picking up a good price any time in late November.
2. Stick around
Once you’ve found your perfect price, it’s worth keeping a close eye on the rest of the weekend’s offers. Retailers sometimes discount certain colorways or games even further over Cyber Monday, if they aren’t performing as well. Keep your original purchase boxed and you might be able to get a better price later on.
3. Learn what a good deal looks like
If you’ve already got a handful of products on your shopping list, it’s time to start tracking their prices. We’d recommend keeping a close eye on the accessories or games you’re looking for over the next couple of months, and take note of any significant price drops.
Not only will you know what a good deal looks like on the day, but some products may, in fact, see record low prices that are worth grabbing before Black Friday Xbox Series X deals even begin.
4. Stay in touch
We’ll be rounding up all the very best Black Friday Xbox Series X deals right here, which means you can bookmark this page and come back on the day for a curated roundup of the biggest offers available.
What to look out for in this year’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals
If you’re not sure where to start with this year’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals, but know you want to get some new stash for your console, you’ve come to the right place. There’s so much going on during the biggest sale of the year that it can be difficult to separate the products you need from the ones that are simply on sale. That’s why we’re rounding up our top three picks for items we not only expect will see some interesting discounts this year, but items that simply offer the best enhancements for your console.
1. SteelSeries Arctis 9X
The best Xbox Series X headset
Reasons to buy
+Wireless+Superb 3D spatial audio+Excellent battery life+Direct to Xbox Bluetooth pairing
Reasons to avoid
-Fairly expensive when not on sale-‘Only’ 40mm drivers
The $199 SteelSeries Arctis 9X is the best headset you can buy for the Xbox Series X right now. Not only is there easy pairing direct to your console’s Bluetooth, but you’re getting that super comfortable ski goggle design, 3D spatial sound, and an excellent battery life to boot.
2. Xbox Elite Wireless Controller 2
The best pro Xbox controller
Reasons to buy
+Excellent customization options+Built-in battery+Modular design+Regularly on sale
Reasons to avoid
-Newer models are catching up to it -Larger starting price
If you’re after a new set of buttons, the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 has plenty on offer. The wildly customizable gamepad took over from the original model in 2019, but has since been stuck at the same MSRP. However, recent months have seen the first significant discounts landing in the US and UK, which means Black Friday Xbox Series X deals may be the best time to buy.
3. Xbox Series S
The cheapest Xbox console
Reasons to buy
+Far more regularly available+Still plays all the same games+Available on All Access
Reasons to avoid
-No 4K -Lacks the power of the main release
It’s long been accepted that the Xbox Series S has been far easier to get your hands on over the last year. In fact, we regularly see these consoles in stock these days, and we may even see some bundle deals creeping onto the shelves over Black Friday. While technically the opposite of a Black Friday Xbox Series X deal, it’s worth keeping a close eye on the budget model, especially if you’re looking for value over power.
Black Friday Xbox Series X deals: what to expect
It’s highly unlikely that we’ll see discounts on the console itself during 2021’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals. However, we are looking forward to some excellent savings on controllers, headsets, and other accessories. If you’re looking for something a little more expensive, we’d recommend checking out Black Friday Xbox Series X TV deals and Black Friday Xbox Series X monitor deals.
All of the peripheral gear originally launched alongside the Xbox Series X console has now had plenty of time on the shelves. By the time Black Friday Xbox Series X deals roll around, these controllers and headsets will have been available for a year and will have to start competing with younger, more feature-rich models at lower price points. That’s when the big savings start rolling around. Third parties have got their heads around the new consoles and the additional features they require, which means the day one releases need to drop their prices to stay relevant.
Last year’s most valuable savings sat on games, so those looking to stock up their library with older (and a handful of new) games will likely be well served this November. Game Pass titles will be available for the lowest prices, but we’re also expecting some record low prices on games already released in 2021; Resident Evil Village, Hitman 3 and The Medium should be high up on your list.
Will there be deals on Xbox Series X games on Black Friday?
Games might not play such a large role in this year’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals as they did last year. That’s because we will likely see far more accessories mature in time for this year’s discounts, with bigger savings on the hardware side of things.
However, there have been a few key releases over the course of 2021 which look set for some excellent price cuts come November. That’s not even to mention the likely discounts on services like Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold.
Microsoft’s holiday window is stacked, but with Halo Infinite launching just after Black Friday Xbox Series X deals are due to take place we’re looking only at pre-order gifts for those eager to get back into Mjolnir armor.
Forza Horizon 5 looks well placed for some blockbuster savings, launching on November 5. While we may not see major discounts here, Game Pass members might see reduced rates on these recent releases throughout the holiday window, so it might pay to keep an eye on your account if you plan on picking this game up outside of your subscription.
Far Cry 6, Psychonauts 2, and Back 4 Blood will also be on our radar. These cross platform titles are far more likely to take part in larger discounts to stay in line with their PlayStation counterparts and will have been on the shelves for a considerable time longer than newer releases by the time November rolls around.
Of course, we’d also recommend looking for older Xbox staples that you might need to fill your collection with. Games like Gears 5, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War, Red Dead Redemption 2, Borderlands 3, and Forza Horizon 4 are all staples when it comes to Xbox sales and you’ll likely find them dirt cheap in November.
Black Friday Xbox Series X deals: what to expect from headsets
Xbox Series X headsets will likely see more discounts across the price range than last year. We didn’t see too many blockbuster savings in the previous sale event, due to the fact that last year’s discounts landed just weeks after the consoles themselves.
Retailers were hesitant to drop their prices too far considering the demand available, but in 2021 we may get a better set of savings across the price range. The Razer Kaira Pro for Xbox took a cut down to $119 from $149 in the summer, and that’s a price we expect might be slightly improved upon come November. Plus, the Astro A50 looks ready to return to its previous Black Friday price of $239.99 (usually $299.99).
As part of the wider Black Friday Xbox Series X deals, we expect this year’s Black Friday gaming headset deals to outperform last year’s simply due to the fact that the cups released to coincide with the new console will have had a year on the shelves by the time November rolls around. That’s a long time in hardware, and with competitors threatening those early launch price tags with cheaper models and more features, we’re betting on some of the biggest names to drop some significant discounts towards the end of the year.
At the cheaper end of the scale, though, we’d recommend budget shoppers turn their attention to two sets of cups in particular. The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition and the HyperX Cloud Stinger have both been readily available for under $50 / £50 over the last few months. However, they’ve both improved on last year’s Black Friday prices in 2021 as well, which means we’ll likely see even cheaper costs come November.
Will there be discounts on controllers in Black Friday Xbox Series X deals 2021?
If you’re after a new gamepad, then it might be worth holding out for Black Friday Xbox controller deals. We would recommend keeping a close eye on not only the Xbox Core controller but also Razer’s line of Xbox-compatible models. The former is a sure bet for some discounts in this year’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals, with a likely return to the $39 sales price that we saw last year. That price hasn’t been beaten in 2021 yet, but we have seen costs dipping down to $49 / £44.99 so far this year.
In the Razer camp, however, the Wolverine V2 is lined up for some excellent discounts. While on the shelves over last year’s Black Friday Xbox Series X deals, this premium controller was still a little too fresh to see significant price cuts in the annual sales. Since then, we’ve seen the $99 gamepad drop as low as $76.50 in the US, regularly taking part in various holiday sales.
The V2 will be celebrating its first birthday close to Black Friday this year, which means enough time spent on the shelves for some even larger savings.
The Razer Wolverine Ultimate is a little older but hasn’t strayed far from its $160 MSRP since launch. However, if you’re looking for even more personalization this might be the better option in 2021. Over the last few months, that cost has been trickling down to between $110 and $130 far more regularly than in previous years. There’s certainly wiggle room for a sub-$100 Black Friday price here, then.
Similarly, the Xbox Elite Wireless Series 2 has been taking far larger price cuts in recent months. Just like the Wolverine Ultimate, we haven’t seen much deviation from MSRP on this premium gamepad since launch. However, over the summer months of 2021, the $179.99 controller has dropped as far as $157.99 for the first time. That’s a trend we can easily see being repeated in November, potentially with even bigger savings.
Check the latest Xbox Series X stock
If you’re looking to get your hands on a console, we wouldn’t recommend waiting until Black Friday to do so. There will be more stock drops over the next few months, and our best advice is to keep in regular contact with the retailers below for the chance to put your order in before November.
